Big Jet Tv Storm Noa at Heathrow 12th April 2023

I lived for awhile next to Castle Air Force base at Merced
Calif...it is where the huge tanker aircraft, and great big
bombers live....my home was about 500 yds from end
of one of the runways....wow....

I've watched an LAX (Lost Angeles) live cam of the planes with commentary and they move the cameras. The announcers are very engaging. It's interesting to watch.

Storm Noa.. has brought torrential rain and High winds to the South and East..... today

It's brought Snow to Scotland... and to Wales

..and still here in the South and East regardless of the weather, there's always going to be joggers..

it has more than 100 shops and restaurants and take 80 million passengers every year...

It has 1300 take offs and landing every single day...

..and people live right next to it...:eek:

I’m surprised there is no “Noise Abatement” in place over these homes. Enough vibration to rattle the walls inside.

One plane went around four times and another pilot decided to divert to Edinburgh!
This video was part two...there is a part one from before the runway change.
i have been sat in a car in a traffic jam right in line with the runway on this video.
Having a Jumbo fly feet above the car with landing gear down is quite an experience.
And the constant drone of planes in the stack when I was in Hounslow( planes low enough to read what's on them) I found fascinating.
Suspect the locals are so used to that they don't notice but I couldn't stop looking up!

The good news is that they didn’t lose my suitcase and it is here. It gets delivered today. I am glad since I took my nice clothes on the trip.
