They had that law in Oregon when I went through there. I was told it was a law to create jobs, and I'm all for that, but pumping gas was something I'm quite capable of myself, and I get out of the station sooner when I don't have to wait for the pumper to get to me. I still had to stick my credit card in a pump that had been doing self service duty of decades, and then wait for a guy. I look all around and see infrastructure that needs repair that would provide jobs, but they are having people pump gas.
