Friend is alone and needs connections

So I’m in my mid 50s and I have a friend who is 80. She was just romanced by a military scammer. She misses the contact and communication with him. My question is are they any places on the Internet she can go to talk to people? She is alone and just needs people to talk to. Thanks for the advice!

Can she use a computer? Can she do ZOOM? We have (or at least had) some people here on SF who were interested in doing ZOOM. That's a great way for people who share a mutual interest or curiosity to 'reach out' and communicate.

Thank you. Her husband died 7 years ago. She doesn’t drive and is pretty much alone in her apartment. I think she prefers cyber friends to in person ones.
