How long do you remain a "New Member"?

Tom you've only made 54 posts in a year.. not sure how many before you move along the ladder, but as Bonnie said, 100 sounds about right..

I joined in January 2021, my card is marked as a "Well Known Member." Tell you what Tom, I have learned more about the internet just by being on this forum than I have perusing books and stabbing vainly at my keyboard in the hope it would help. Everyone is a mind of information here.
So dim am I that to become a member, my Godson set me up with an e-mail address because it was compulsory, I've never used it though, he also set up my form filling wotsit when you join. You too can be a well known member, but truth be told, I am still a closet rookie.

..a closet rookie you may be when it comes to the Internet.. but a very intelligent man... who I'm sure if you put your mind to how the internet works, would get much more joy and use from it.. :sneaky:

Hand on heart, you've got my number. The subjects that I excel at are the ones that come naturally, but if I really want something I get there eventually. For example I loathe the idea of cookies, it took a while but I learned that before logging off I can delete history, clear browsing data and delete a plethora of information stored on my computer, which, if left, will eventually cause said computer to start running slow.
Oh and by the way, you really stroked my ego with the intelligent compliment, much appreciated. You do so brighten up this place.

Say what!! 100 POST to remove new member status - thought I was retired looks like I'm back to work. Plus I see I need to
keep this job for at least a week to get photo privileges.
