They called them Broad beans.who on gods' earth wants to eat Green beans in a Quiche ?.. talk about do things on the cheap..
They have absolutely zero taste...it's the sort of thing we might pop into a stew or a soup just to add fibre..They called them Broad beans.
Fava beans, also known as broad beans, are a springtime crop that is grown and eaten around the world. One of the oldest known cultivated plants, fava beans date back to about 6000 BCE and were eaten by the ancient Greeks, Romans, and settlers of the eastern Mediterranean. wiki.
I looked them up. They are Incredibly nutritious.
But they still don;t belong in Quiche!
Lamb is very rich... it's my favourite red meat...All I can remember is my mom saying she did not like lamb because it "tastes wooly". A mom-ism I remember well LOL
I had it often when I was with Rick. We even found a place that made ground lamb.....so I could make lamb burgersLamb is very rich... it's my favourite red meat...
It's lucky they have plenty of money to waste because it was apparently to no avail.oh they've gone all out recently to make her look as attractive as possible. Much money spent on skin care, hair care, designer clothing ( none of which she was interested in previously, and she made no bones about it )...but now she has to be seen to look as tho' she's fit to be a Queen..

yes when you cook with minced lamb , and top it with mashed potato, it's called Shepherds' pie... if you use Minced beef instead, it's called Cottage Pie...I had it often when I was with Rick. We even found a place that made ground lamb.....so I could make lamb burgers
