Once the crown was put on Charles head.. and he had to sit through a whole load of script... I noticed that on 2 occasions he winced.. and I think probably he might be in pain. .because the crown weight over 4pounds.. that's a lot of weight on a 74 year old head, and I know he has back issues.. and of course the Coronation cloak is very heavy too... so that's the reason he had to have help to stand up..

When prince William pledged his Lieg to his father to become his Liegeman ... his dad said ..well done ( I read his lips ) :D

She's not wearing a Tiara Jujube... Instead in a Nod to her father-in-laws love of Nature she's wearing a Jess Collet & Alexander McQueen headpiece, which is an arrangement of shimmering silver bullion, crystal, and silver thread leaf embroidery that formed a point above her

The former Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs looked stunning in a fitted beige dress with floral motifs and matching hat, which towered on her head.

Not everyone was impressed, with several viewers watching the ceremony at home comparing her to a 'toilet dolly' - a type of decorative doll that was popularly used as a toilet roll holder in the 1970s.

Love or hate her.. this is a great picture IMO
ETA..on the far right front row, the guy sitting next to the woman in the green top is Tom Parker Bowles. Camillas' son . He's a restaurant critic and TV pundit

She looks sick with nerves, and looks to him for reassurance, and he's looking very happy and relaxed..

Just watching them leave the Abby now and Charles looks rather sad.
It could be that he is just exhausted.

I must say the Abbey looks splendid - so colourful.

Camilla looks wonderful in her white gown trimmed with gold embroidery and I am very taken by the sword bearer. She looks amazing.

The Princess of Wales' regalia is amazing, so is Princess Anne's.

Charles.. banned cameras from a secret part of the ceremony today - and was shielded with a screen for his privacy.

It's the anointing where Charles is blessed with the holy oil by the Archbishop of Canterbury

During that moment, the archbishop would have made the sign of the cross on his hand, breast and head with holy oil ..it's regarded as a deeply spiritual moment for a monarch.
 
Just a few facts for anyone who is interested..

Charles is the 40th reigning Monarch to be crowned at Westminster Abbey..altho;' Britain has had 62 Monarchs over 1200 years...

The crowing of the Monarch has taken place in exactly the same spot since 1066. ACE
