I agree, that is a beautiful horse. They are all beautiful, especially when they run. As always, I hope there are not injuries.

This mint julip is hitting the spot with me and I rarely bother to make them.
 
Well that was exciting. I thought Hit Show had a chance for a few seconds but then Mage just flew past like everyone else was standing still. I I love how Mage looks like a dull brown horse until the sunlight flames up that coat.
 
It was a great race! I didn't have one particular horse that I picked this year. My daughter & I both agreed that we've never seen 3 dapple grays in one derby. One maybe, but that's it.

The winning jocky, Janier Castellano, has rode in 15 Derbys & finally won his first. Good for him!

came in 17th of 18..🙄...😂😅🤣
