Time for patting yourself on the back!
Of course this came to me because I'm feeling so smart. Legend in my own mind? πŸ˜‹
I needed a small piece of plant block to keep a Lilly from spreading all around its space.
The block was kind of expensive for my use. I got a very inexpensive plastic bucket (yes dollar tree, I know), cut the bottom out and replanted in the burrowed bucket.
I bet you all think of this stuff all the time. I'm a little slower and get excited over little things.

you're a legend in your own mind.. and you have a right to shout it out.

Someone on here is a little obsessed by me and every time I talk about myself... the whiny voice says ''it's always all about you''... well of course it's about me.. would they rather I started talking behind other people's backs ?.. yes knowing that character they probably would and probably do....

So I'm a smart Alex because I'm better than that person.. by a million miles :D:ROFLMAO:

I think that's amazing. I don't have that talent at all.

I finally, finally, launched my blogs! (This isn't an advert for them; I'm not going to post the links).

They're unlikely to get much traction (much like last year's youtube channel), but that's not the point really. Just like the first time I hit "publish" on my first youtube video, when I hit "publish" on my first blog post, it was a success! Personal success. I did it. I'm doing it. :) Freaking Yay!

I kind of fall short in the Smarty Pants department.....but I do score big in the Smart Alec department.

DIYing yields many rewards by unleasing creativity. Ya done good πŸ‘

I started taking college classes when I was 37. I was a divorced mom (of one) and worked full time, yet managed to pull a 4.0 GPA for most of my two years in college. That average was lowered slightly due to missing a critical exam because of debilitating episodes of atrial fibrillation. The heartless professor did not allow me to make it up.

I'm also a self taught investor who has done pretty well with choosing investments over the years. I've never used a financial planner.

I'm a smartypants when I can figure out how to repair something without hiring someone else to do it! A while ago, my kitchen sink was clogged and doing the usual things to unplug it didn't work, it wouldn't budge it. Calling a plumber is expensive, and I wanted to avoid that if possible. So, I took it upon myself to go under the sink and unhook the pipes and I used my shop vac to suck out the clog. My biggest concern was re-hooking up the pipes, so they didn't leak. A bit tricky because it wasn't exactly straight forward. There's a bendy one that I wasn't sure I could re-hook properly. Somehow, by the grace of God, I managed to put it all back together, and it didn't leak! Mission accomplished! Pat-pat-pat! 😁

Between trying to unclog the drain the conventional way and unhooking and re-hooking everything it took about four hours. I'm sure the plumber could have done it in a fraction of the time, but it was worth the effort and the time it took because it saved me a ton of money.

Pluming is sort of scary. That was brave! πŸ‘ πŸ˜ƒ

Ooh, big pat on the back!

One time a guy in a huge pick-up truck started yelling at me in the parking lot of a store. I had my mother with me at the time and it was night. He proceeded to follow us honking his horn. I was concerned since he didn't seem to be in a right state of mind. I saw my chance to lose him and quickly pulled onto a side road and he had to wait for oncoming traffic. I pulled into the parking lot of another place where some other cars were and turned off the car lights. I hoped I look like any other car parked there. He continued to drive up and down, but when he gave up, I pulled out onto the road and headed in the direction I wanted to go, (still with dark lights). When I got back on the main road, I turned the lights on. He never caught up with us. My mother said later that she heard on her police scanner later that night that the police had a run-in with a man harassing drivers. We always wondered it it was the same guy.

When a project comes up..that I don't know exactly how to do...
but, I think about it...πŸ€”
Then jerry-rig it..
And...it "works out".
I say..."good enough for government work"
Yah! feel like a smarty-pants 🀭
