AT&T instructed me to take iPhone to Best Buy because I had AppleCare insurance. Best Buy wanted to charge $99.00 even though the phone was still under warranty. I declined to pay, why should I be charged for a faulty phone when I am already paying for coverage?

Best Buy technician delegated phone profile, I cannot sign into AT&T or Apple because technically my phone does not exist.
trying to schedule Genius Bar at Apple Store, however my phone does not show nor am I able to receive a text.
 

Ha, ha! Years ago I bought an expensive movie camera from Best Buy. I also bought their insurance. I had a problem under warranty and went back to them. They gave the the proverbial "run-around." All I got from them was a "1-800" number. When I phoned they told me to go back to Best Buy.

Lesson Learned: Never buy an extended warranty from Best Buy. They do not care about their customers. I have learned my lesson well.
 

Called apple store in Syracuse and set appointment Tuesday
