Does anyone crave something that's no longer available?

What I see in many posts is a complaint about the deterioration in the quality of fruits. I join their protests! My daughter blames the deterioration of my taste buds, but I would swear that all too many things no longer taste as delicious!

You name it, fast food, eggs, chicken .. the latter lost taste because of the present factory raising of chickens. I switched to free range eggs in protest, but they are no different from regular eggs during the winter because the chicken just peck on a barn floor, rather than in a cage. The food is the same! I am also missing the orange color of the yolk, those eggs were tasty!

Something else I miss: Good, oldfashioned bath tubs! The deep ones that let you submerge completely!
We had one of those in our last house. It was a new tub though, not an older one. But,it was so deep that it was treacherous getting in and out.

This is said tub.Kind of hard to tell with the shower curtain closed but you can see how high it was....

When I used to stay with my grandmother in the school holidays, she always served me a bowl of Grape Nut for breakfast. I loved it and asked my mother to buy it for me. She could never get it and I believe that it is an American product. Is it still available over there?

Yes, it is. I tried to post a picture, but I'm not very good at it.
It has been around for awhile , but still very popular.

Added later: I really miss the KFC of the Colonel's reign! You will never convince me that the chicken tastes the same!

I desperately want a bowl of Campbell's Green Pea Soup! They yanked it off the market just like Disney+ is about to do with so many of their shows!
I noticed the 'yanked' shows in some pictures that hubby's niece-in-law shared with us. It doesn't look the same... period.

well the euphamism 'to yank' something away become inacceptable soon like many others - or the POMS ; or Kiwis etc?
