Since I can’t link to the original article, does it say how tall/big the 11 year old is? That’s the only logic possible excuse I can think of.

Sure wish they’d discuss what‘s on the body cams.

I think police at this point knowing the court of public opinion was formed in a day ..... wait until they have the investigation complete....
NOT fueling the media back and forth is perhaps the best move...... i have noticed that many hold off more as words are twisted and theories abound
The child looked a bit bigger perhaps that was a factor....even conflicting information between dispatch and officer

i would look to the murder in Idaho University ............. police were quiet ..............not fueling the speculation and were called incompetent and buffoons but they did not run to media to LOOK better they investigated and did the work ........... every story was filled with what if and speculation
only to arrest and make announcements of a very solid case against the suspect.

MAYBE others have learned to not have public statements and half information running amok ... even recent shooting incidents are not being daily speculated on ....

Agree here. Crafting a Complaint such as this should be meticulous. My guess is the Contingency fee was more like 10 % to pop some eyes out, 10 % of 5 million, is still 1/2 a Mill. It knocks out the Firms seeking 30-40 %. One of the counts of the Complaint is the Mississippi common law Tort of "Outrage". Or as the SC sometimes refers to such as, it "Shocks the conscience".
