I have been reading several retirement blogs and low income living blogs and some just for fun blogs over the past few years. now most are disappearing from the net, the authors are tired of writing them or moving on to other things. are blogs passé now or do I just choose ones that don't last and cannot find good other ones. how about you does anyone read a good blog? or if you read one has it disappeared? how about a good one any out there?

No, Ralphy. These are message boards or forums. Not blogs. A blog is the short name for a weblog and is not a discussion group.
The difference eludes me at times when some start bloviating here...

I sign up to get notified by email of a new blog post on a couple of blogs. One was a fellow volunteer in Uganda and now she's in Tanzania and I'm enjoying reading her blog. I kept one while in Uganda and it's massive.
