Humans are weird people- your stories.

I can across this- a blind woman was thrown out of a nudist camp, because her huge dog left piles, and she didn't pick up after the dog.
But, all I could think of is why would a blind person go to a nudist camp?
People are weird, What is your favorite weird human story?
Most people don't join nudist colonies to gawk. Most of them join because they believe it's very good for their health.

My question is, how could that lady see exactly where the dog piles were? I don't know of any "nudist colony" (they prefer "naturist colony") where someone wouldn't volunteer to assist that lady in picking up after her dog. It didn't happen. Someone's having you on.

When googled about blind people getting guns, this came up.

I know this sounds stupid, but I wondered what a blind person got at a nudist colony that she couldn't get by walking around naked in her home? According to the article, she wasn't cleaning up after her huge dog.

My wife and I were “Naturists” in Florida at the Caliente Resort in Land O’Lakes for 5 years. We owned a casita. It was a very exhilarating experience. Caliente is clothing optional, except you must be nude at the pool. Most females wear a very light beach skirt around the resort and most men will wear a pair of short trunks, but not Speedos.

We really had some good times in the clubhouse and lounge. There are all kinds of activities. We also visited a resort in Palm Springs called Desert Springs. BTW, the people like to be called Naturists, drop the colony. That’s old school. If you have never visited a resort, most offer a “free” one-day trial. At Caliente there is music and dancing 5 nights per week, a really nice restaurant, very clean, nice and friendly people. They have a conversation pool, which is about 3 feet deep and you have the opportunity to just sit or stand in the pool and talk to whoever strikes up a conversation with you.

The only reason we dropped our membership and sold our casita was because our work schedules prevented us from really enjoying the membership for more than 1 week every now and then. I was willing to drop everything and move there. It was (is) very relaxing.

We all know dogs are butt-sniffers. Maybe that's people's actual complaint - "Can't so much as step outside without that dog sticking its nose up my wazoo!" - so the association is grasping for any reason to get rid of that lady and her pooch.

Somebody should have thought of that.

I dated a naturist for about a year and a half back in the early 80s, and me and my kids loved spending time at her community. It was in south-central Calif near the coast. Beautiful place. Good times. Good people.

Do you remember the name?

It was near Big Sur, and I think it that's what it was called... Big Sur Clothing-Free Camp, or Clothing-Optional, something like that. Everyone there just called it The Sur.

edit: Wait! I think it was called Eden-something! Sorry, I don't remember, but that's close.

Caliente was my daughter's and her second husband's favorite spot for years before they got heavily into snow-skiing. Not a lot of nudists on the slopes or lifts for some reason.

On our first visit, we were a bit tense, but after about a half hour, all that went away. People just act naturally and if you are able to, I always recommended to my friends that went with us to take advantage of a day at the spa. Expensive for some, but when you go through the works, you feel much better than when you started. I only ever allowed the females to put their hands on me. If I’m a homophobe or whatever they’re called, then so be it. I have my rules.

Why not? I don't think viewing naked people is the reason to camp without clothes.

She gets the feeling of freedom nudity gives without having to see any ugly people without clothes :ROFLMAO:
Yes. Why not? Exactly, It's the feeling, not the view.
