Gratefulness 👋😎🌹🐢

I have often found that finding what I'm grateful for helps me put my life in perspective and is a real upper for me.

I'm very grateful to have my 2 sweet pets that keep me going in this life.

I'm also grateful that I have some sort of income coming in that keeps us all sustained for the most part.

I'm glad I'm still at home and yet able to try and maintain 3 lives. We all are well fed, pets are basically healthy.

I found out my new health insurance helps to pay a car repair bill or gasoline. I need to go online and find out more about it but it's a real plus benefit!

I get low income housing in a nice area of the city. I get healthcare and some good things like transportation to doctors.

I'm so grateful I'm not homeless even if it could happen.

Those are some things I am grateful for.

Are you grateful for anything?

I am grateful for so many things, but most of all that I have learned things that shifted my entire perspective of life. The easiest way to be happy is to want less, and appreciate the simple pleasures in life, and live fully in those moments.

Thankfulness opens the heart to experience the Being. I am thankful that I am immortal, eternal, evolving to God consciousness,
limitless, fully alive and full of happiness. I'm creating my life as I desire it to be. (not material things but simple joys) I feel unbounded.
I'm trying to become the best person I can be in this life and grow into unending possibilities learning, reading, expressing.
I'm most thankful for my two children, my surrounding Angels, the bliss I feel in deep meditation, my aliveness, and ability to feel love,

Wonderful! I only mentioned the basic needs in my post but your post is so enlightening and something to always strive for❣️

I’m grateful for each day that I share with 2 dogs . They are currently both snuggled on my lap enjoying a movie with me. We are watching ‘A man named Otto,’ with Tom Hanks.

They have wet paws from coming in from outside so have a blanket wrapped around them. I’m so lucky 🍀 and grateful to have them in my life. They bring me such joy.
Later on we will play for about 20 to 30 minutes. Not long ago they got 3 different stuffed monkeys from Costco.

I’ve got a comfortable home to live in and have decent food to put on the table.
My hobbies keep me busy and bring me joy which I’m also most grateful for.

I’m grateful to have time to play beautiful instruments and make beautiful music.
Im grateful to still have eyesight so I can read good books. Currently I’m reading a book written by one of our members here and it’s very good. I’m grateful to have all the supplies to paint pictures and experiment with new techniques.

Outside our house is adorned with big vases of pretty, colourful flowers. Their daily growth intrigues me. Their beauty reminds me that there are good things in life to appreciate .

I’m still able to walk so do. Some people can’t. I’m grateful to have a private place to walk where I’m guaranteed not to meet anyone. It brings me such comfort.

The fact that I can sit comfortably in my chair in the evening and watch a movie of my choosing is fabulous . During the day I can listen to any type of music I like . I’ve got my own exercise equipment to help keep me healthy and between doing all these things, I’ve got you ALL to chat with.

I’m blessed and grateful.

I love this thread! Thank you, @Ruthanne ! Loved reading everyone's posts.

I am grateful to God for living in the U.S., having a nice home in a good neighborhood, with good neighbors, and having plenty of food to eat. I am grateful for my son, and my family. I am grateful for being alive and being able to walk, play musical instruments, paint, write, and read. I am grateful that my mind is working and that I can live independently. I am also grateful that I live in peaceful harmony with my surroundings. My beautiful plants inside adorn the large kitchen window while the easy listening instrumental music filters through the first floor to provide a lovely ambiance.

I'm happy for you 😃!

I am grateful for my kids, fur kids, friends, health, home and ability to care for myself. I have a reliable income and one of my greatest joys is taking my 2 Maltese for a daily walk. Amy has to ride in a stroller but still enjoys getting out.

When I was younger I didn’t realize what a gift it is to still have your health, mind and physical abilities. Many aren’t so fortunate. You start wonderful threads Ruthanne!!

Thank you for posting that!

Lovely thread Ruthanne and nice to see you :)
Yes, I raise my glass to Gratefulness.

I count my blessings each and every day.
I also pay attention to those things that need attention
too...which are in my opinion, blessings in disguise!
Like what has been a blessing in disguise?

What a nice thread this is. It feeds my soul to read it.

Gratefulness is so good for the soul.

I am grateful for so much, shelter, sustenance, my dear kitties who are my live-in family these days, my human live-out family, a very good neighbor, assorted friends, mostly good health with just a few challenges and opportunities to give back. I am truly blessed.

Ruthanne, you did a good thing when you started this thread. It's nice to see you back. 🤗

I know many of you don't believe angels exist, but if you'll let me,
I was just reading some of what they said about thankfulness:

The mere thought of gratitude lifts the quality of thought.
feel truly, deeply grateful for anything.
So many wonders come from the heavens.
When these come to you, feel thankful.
not saying empty, hollow words; FEEL!
Feelings are the true words of God!

When one sits silently and feels love and thankfulness,
everything will come to him in thought from his angels.
This is felt by the soul. This is immersed in the heart.
This love will be combined into peacefulness and contentment."
