New Fashions for Men

I cleared my closet out just before I came down here to Florida. I am buying all new clothing for winter and then about the middle of February, I am going to clear out the spring and summer clothing and replace those items. I knew I had a lot of winter shirts, but 67 is a lot of shirts.
But will you be buying any of those mini skirts in the link⁉️ I couldn't get past #12... some of them weren't so bad and kilts are nice... but that #12, nope. (although the dude's legs are really nice!) @Been There

Yes, that's what happens when you leave a man alone with a chainsaw or two and a pile of wood (There might have been a beer involved too, I don't remember). The point is, if men are left alone for long periods, they do crazy stuff, but most women know that by now.
luv your stuff! I wanted to chain saw carving but as close as I got was a hammer and chisel and a Dremel.

yea leave a man alone with a beer or two and a chainsaw and he pretty soon gets legless!!

Yeah, that works. I think the only reason I did it is because I had just finished a couple fairy houses for the garden, and it's a bit of a pain in the keester to change out the sprocket back to the stock one, and I'd had a couple log sections from a tree I had taken down (Pine Beetles), and so I just went after them.
Chips were flying, and before long, faces began to emerge (One oriental like Confucious, and the other more Jesus like). I'm really not that good at it, I was just screwing around to make something out of those butt cuts. It was fun. Here are the fairy houses.IMG_20230624_170207[1].jpgIMG_20230624_170216[1].jpg

Yeah, that could happen. I've just been using them all my life, and I feel more comfortable with them than with my cell phone. I just give them a lot of respect.

Oeer careful - overconfidence goes before a fall? - is it that the other way around?
Many things are dangerous. Even driving a car on the freeway, or hiking in the forest. But after you have done it for some time, it gets more comfortable. When it's just me and the chainsaw, I just have to watch out for what I'm doing, driving on the freeway, I have to watch out for every knucklehead that managed to get a license.

Most of the items I carve are Christmas ornaments that I give away but I’ll try and see if I have some pictures.

The other things I carve are wooden hair forks for my own hair since it’s long. I’m not sure how great these will photograph but here’s a couple of them.

Here’s a mouse on top of a berry bush. It’s made from spalted maple : meaning the black lines in it are naturally occurring ( not the lines from the berries or in the mouse itself )

This one is made from poplar and I painted it to look like worn out blue jeans with added daises at the top. Both woods from our own backyard.

Here’s one I did with a gemstone insert

And here are a couple of Christmas ornaments I made as gifts for others. The one in front is a rocking dog instead of a rocking horse made from poplar . I added a chain for a collar. The other one in the background is an old fashioned Santa made from spalted maple
I got the description but no pictures.
