Decision Fatigue

@Lethe200 and @Ronni, so agree about the numerous decisions that need to be made when remodeling. I think that's half the reason all those HGTV type homes wind up with very similar features. Avocado or Harvest Gold appliances, glass block walls, pink bathtubs, etc., are as precise as carbon dating. Subway tiled kitchens will be the same.

Related to this, when I need to do detailed spread sheets or paperwork requiring laser focus, my sweet spot is from about 8 AM (two cups of coffee into the day) and 2 PM. I don't function as well later in the day. Not sure if it's "decision-fatigue" or general brain fatigue.

Funny thing - about 20 years ago we had a young dog that needed some training - or maybe it was us who needed training. In any event a trainer came to our house for an hour a week. Even if the dog had been snoozing earlier, after each training session the dog needed a two hour nap. The trainer told us this was typical... the heavy brain work from being trained was more exhausting than a 3 mile walk.
