What have you done once..and would you never do again....

I dated a former meth addict for 8 or 9 months. When we met, she'd been clean and sober for 5 years. She was sweet, caring, and super-cute, but addicts adopt habits besides drugs that they just can't break. Lying is one. That was a biggie. Difficulty reasoning is another...or maybe it's just a lack of common sense. They're not good listeners. And she was really hyper-emotional, over-reactive, easily alarmed. She'd panic over nothing...just life's little problems, you know?

She was exhausting. And I can't abide liars.

I wouldn’t have settled with the person I’m now with. We are not well matched for each other.

I would have either stayed single or met someone who I could have had an honest intimate connection with and who shared some of my passions and interests. We may have even become world travellers - sailed around the world, build our own small off grid home, created some beautiful music together ♥️

You're still pretty young! Why don't you go after what you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want?
Don't settle for something else because someone else expects this of you or because it's the easiest way.
Come on Patty! Do what you really want to do, even if it scares you! Take chances!
(just my opinion)

Never drive over the Peak of the Mont Blanc mountain in the snow and ice....:eek:
I didn't know where this Mont Blanc is but my gut told me it was likely in the Alps.

Which reminded me that my Grandfather escaped a POW camp in the first world war. He crossed the alps on foot, to get back to his home in Italy, getting frostbite in his feet. In his old age he still had problems with his feet.

So I'm going to say on his behalf that he did it once but wouldn't again.

why what happened ?.. can you say ?
It was my first time flying ever and It was just such a confined space . The first plane(had connecting flights) was like a crop duster to me very small plane you felt every bump and turn. The second plane It just was just unnerving to me being on such a big plane on the second part of our flight and not knowing the rest of the people on the plane. I said "if I ever get back home from Cal to Ms and put my feet back on the ground I would never ever get back on a plane and that was about 22 years ago.The flight itself was calm but just knowing I was so high up and no way to get out was not for maybe it was first time jitters. I am glad I had the experience but I hope to never do it again.
