Lots of tornado activity in my state right now. A building I was in just yesterday morning is gone. *FOUR* touchdowns within 20-25 miles of me in the past hour. No sirens here yet, but I'm fully expecting to lose power for a while. I know there are a number of other people here from my state... I hope you'll all stay safe!

I see them on radar. Stay safe! I don't think they'll get to us.

Oh wow... stay safe all of you.. you know what you need to do...🤗

Do what my favorite Internet weather man always says, locate your helmet, put the damn helmet on. I'll add, go to the basement, storm cellar, bathtub with mattress over or whatever shelter you have.
For us it's an interior area... no basement. There's usually some kind of indication that it could happen, but not this time... never even heard anything until the first one was on the ground.

We've had a lot of tornados lately in an area where they are unusual. Mostly they haven't touched the ground but there have been 3 or 4 that did some damage. None were really close to me but all around.

A bathroom or large closet is good. I'm sure you know that you want as many walls close around you as possible. Take care.

Kate, be safe. Hope to hear from you soon!

Everyone in at risk areas, please stay safe.

I've had some close calls in Florida, Texas and Wyoming. Had to take cover in a bathrooms cause no basement. (Center hall ways can work too.). But we were lucky, never had direct hit on us or immediate neighbors.

We learned back in 1989 that even a small tornado can ruin your whole day, and we were not even home when it happened. It sure spooked our chihuahua.

OMG Kate! I hope you and yours will remain safe! That must be very weird...knowing you were just at a place that has been taken out by a tornado! It also must be frightening.

Glad you are safe. I have lived in tornado alley twice and always bought a house with a basement but still scary. We would sit in the basement bathroom because driving around after one hit that’s what was left of the houses.
