What are you cooking or baking today?

Has anybody baked a chicken and forgot to remove the plastic bag with the gizzards in it?
I haven't, but I had always watched Mom & Grandma do chicken.

The first time my friend & her husband cooked turkey for the family Thanksgiving, they found their bag at the table when they were carving it in front of the in front of the family.

We're just coming off my son's birthday weekend so I'm trying to use everything up so we can begin one of our diets tomorrow. I made all sorts of vegan things for him, vegan pound cake for strawberry short cake with vegan whipped cream, etc. This morning I made potato salad taking his half out before adding eggs in mine. The whole enterprise took me almost 2 hours. That's one hour more than I like to stand in the kitchen. My leg says ow.

Our first turkey was a mega special cut down right in the middle and frozen. That was Christmas 1984. As it was also considered a utility turkey, this 10lbs monster costs peanuts.

Strangely, we were lucky to have the entire bag stuffed through its half back side 🤣🤣🤣 I'm nuts if I don't get at least one turkey heart for the Holidays. It even came with a pop-up timer.

Eggs, bacon, sausages & hashbrowns, toasts, juice and due to crazy weather, cold coffee.

Aka our version of Fryup.

The granite pan from the Hairy Bikers grabbed at HomeBargains, is great for any eggs, sunny side up, scrambled, omelette even adding water and vinegar and it'll do poached without any fat of any kind. A M A Z I N G PAN!

2 whole split chicken breasts with stuffing in the oven, wrapped in foil. Added some of my potted rosemary chopped fine to the sage-stuffing.

Placed on a sheet pan for 30 mins., then added 3 fresh zucchini cut into chunks, tossed with olive oil and salt. When done, will pull, increase heat to 400f and add fresh asparagus spears tossed in olive oil and salt to the pan for 10 mins.

Now that sounds really good.

Well it is almost 5 in the morning here and I am getting ready to go to bed. I took some chicken breast from the freezer, so the plan is to make sour cream chicken enchiladas. I have everything here I need, I decide on meals a lot of the time by what I have in the fridge and freezer. Should be good for a few days and I will also fix a dish for the freezer.

Daughter and I made "Breakfast Sandwiches" for lunch. Dinner will be pork chops boneless fried in pan, serve with either chips or mash (depending what we find in Freezer lol), apple sauce, steamed corn cobettes and bread to dip in pork tea gravy.

Taking a break watching Merida in Brave to go bake a batch of brownies to go with ice cream for dessert.
