Last minute trip!

We took a last minute trip to Syracuse this weekend to celebrate Ron’’s great niece’s graduation. I met some wonderful extended family, and even more exciting, first time in 10 years Ron and his siblings have been together! At one point there were 16 of us staying at his sister-in-law’s house!! It was a crazy, hectic, wonderful time.

We are so lucky in that with one exception (and she wasn’t there ) both of our immediate and extended family are very close and get along amazingly well! At this get together there were in-laws, step sisters, great-nieces and nephews, siblings and not a harsh word in 5 days. It was a treat! Ron says it’s always been like that on his side of the family. It’s been similar on mine.

We’ve both lucked out with kinfolk!
