High of 83 today, but right now (8:30 am) it's only 62 won't get to the 80s until 2 pm. I have appointments this afternoon so no swimming today. Despite the pool being a lovely 88°, I don't like swimming when the air is this chilly.

Well it's been threatening to rain since about 11am... we had rumblings of thunder at 2pm.. and a little rain when I was sweeping up in the garden.. but it lasted 5 minutes. The atmorpshere is heavy... the forecasters are warning of ''massive storms'' throughout the country.. but nothing yet...

we've not had any real rain for weeks.... so this week it's forecast for showers every day .. altho' we're still waiting here today... but I'm happy about the forecast rain for all next week..it'll keep the temps down...

Temp at this moment is 85F, but the heat index is 95F. Good thing for ceiling fans which I didn't have at my former residents. They are good up to a point, then they just circulate the same hot air. Temp in house is 80F.

Currently 19°C feels like 19°C LOL!

Twice this week so far, we've been alerted to Yellow Warning of Thunderstorms. Last night Saturday to Sunday around 3am there was one loud thunder bit and that was it. Bit of rain and it went all quiet.

Waiting for the promised rain from 19:00. Let's see how it goes, sorry can't take weather seriously these days. Hope for the best and that's it lol!

More rain and thunderstorms! There is a flood warning posted for our area and includes several counties in N.J. and parts of New York. But it has cooled down a little. We are in the high 70s (real feel low 80's) rather than in the 90's (real feel high 90's to 100) like last week.

It's going to be a little toasty for the extended holiday weekend. The smart ones fled to the mountains up north or to California for the extended holiday. I'm not as smart.
