I love mangoes, and @chic is right...mango juice is delicious!

I really enjoy eating Mangos. My friend's neighbor down in Florida has a Mango tree. He says it's the top of the Mango line, which it may or may not be. To me, a Mango is a Mango. We would go over and pick a few each day. The tree was flush with Mangos. Great Smoothies, great to eat alone or add some to a salad, drop a few slices into a glass of iced tea or add to a glass of Captain Morgan Spice Rum.

I had the most delicious mangoes in Australia. The juice was running down my arms .. and, I was never a
mango eater before then.
They do have a downside. I was told never to drink cold water after eating a Mango because it will give you a sore throat? I don't know, does it?

Hurrah for National Mango Day!

We had a Mango tree in the back yard of our quarters Ft. Shafter, Hawaii '96-'98. Linda always had a pitcher of mango daiquiris in the freezer compliments of the tree.

Used to sit on the Lanai and watch the Mongoose snatch up a fallen mango hardly had it hit the ground. Dash out of the bush, snatch it up and be gone again back into the bush. Great fun to watch. Brings back fond memories.
