We had an old Mercedes that we called "Eva Maroon" (because it was maroon). We couldn't call it "Eva Braun", because it wasn't. Badda-Boom...
My old Canadian Vintage Modified race car was a 1934 Chev 3 window coupe, with a 250 cubic inch inline six engine, punched out to 300 cubic inches, with a 500 CFM holley carb, a high lift ISKY cam and forged pistons and rods, running on Sunoco 360 race gas. That car was known as "Miss Ugly 39 ". link to CVM website. https://www.vintagemods.com/drivers
JImB.

Gotta love the angle iron front bumper/rad protector. And the home made windshield ,too. The CVM's are a lot more sophisticated than that. JImB.Mine was Hudson powered... of course, back then, it wasn't considered vintage.

I know some kids, well they're adults now, that would love to own that van.In the early 70ās my parents bought a Volkswagen Van like the picture. We would go to the beach in it with our cousins.
So much fun!! We named it Myrtle May.

Well arenāt you a wild one?I call my car, and get this, Honda Accord 2006! I know, I know, it wouldn't occur to most people but that's the kind of creative mind I have. My mechanic likes it too. He calls it the same thing.
These looked like so much fun for camping and traveling. I didnāt realize how spacious they were inside or look to be.In the early 70ās my parents bought a Volkswagen Van like the picture. We would go to the beach in it with our cousins.
So much fun!! We named it Myrtle May.

No, never. To me it's just a machine that serves me. Maybe I lack imagination.

There's "Big Red", Lil Zee, Suzyooky, Todd and Margo.

Interesting hedders on the 03 car ? Inline 6 ? Koni coil overs on the 55 car ? Some kind of fancy, right there. 302 V8 ? JimB.Yeah, we were a might crude at the beginning. I did however get better as I evolved.
