Beautiful bird. We have a lot of Egrets around here — bayside. As well as large numbers of Canada geese. Love them too. Many of those geese seem to hang out year round, rather than migrate back to Canada. Favorite spot is the lawns of the local high school. Guess they eat the grass.

Canada Geese are pretty common here in the UK too!

Canada Geese are pretty common here in the UK too!

There is a great really enjoyable movie about Canada Geese, and their migration — Fly Away Home. Everyone I know who has seen it loves it. (-8
