I can't sleep.

It's 2:20am here. Later today, there's a hearing to decide whether Paxton's mother will lose her parental rights or not. His CPS caseworker and the dept supervisor act like it's a done deal, and it probably is. They already conducted a permanency interview with Paxton and the twins. Yesterday.

After the judge decides, I think CPS will move ahead with the adoption as fast as policy allows.

To be perfectly frank, I could use some whiskey.

Frank...this is a rinse and repeat of previous years for you... very stressful... we can only hope they do better this time on behalf of the kids than they've ever done in the past.

If it helps it's 11.10am here so try not to feel like you're the only one awake in the world.. which most of us do when we can't sleep...

I thought it had already been legally determined that she lost all custody of Paxton, Murr. Try to relax.
