When did you notice you're old?

If the above examples, male and female, are intended to make anyone feel younger or better about their age you folks need to try something else. :ROFLMAO:
I feel I've taken a "coup de vieux" about 6 months after hubby died...
My heart goes out to anyone who has lost their partner in life. My condolences to you Supernatural, and to others who know her grief.
Myrtle, do you know what never grows old? Love. That's why my lady and I so love dancing. It's embracing, it's tactile and it conveys that most treasured emotion, love.

The low wall around the park that I used to hop over as a short cut to the shops, now I walk the mile or so around the park because that sodding wall seems to have grown. ☺️
Are you hiding from us, @timoc ? I see tomorrow will be a week that you've not posted and that's not like you. Come out, come out wherever you are... I have 🍦🍨

I noticed this old guy looking back in the mirror this morning. I'm 77, so I'm used to seeing me. But this morning, it was different. There was an old guy looking back at me. I know this sounds dumb, but I just noticed that I'm old. It hit home. It's not feeling 'young at heart', it's knowing you're old in your bones. You ARE your age. It may not be pleasant, but it is reality. When did you notice you're old?

I noticed old age when I fell down and could not just get right back up and people just walked by. Well, I did get up after calling my husband and waiting for him to get there. Meanwhile, I sat up and put my glasses on and waited.
 Oh my goodness, that's terrible! I may have a few complaints about my area, but I'm pretty confident that if someone would fall, there'd be hands reaching out immediately to help the person up. I'm sorry you had to deal with something like that!

I'm 65 years old and certainly when I look in the mirror, I don't see a 20 something year old woman anymore. There is the grey hair, some wrinkles where there were no wrinkles before, but that really doesn't change who I am. It may change my appearance and I might move a little slower than I did when I was 20, but actually physically I feel pretty damn good.

Is there an easy way to tell of farts they are old and just enjoy every day as much as they can.
People come and go out of our lives. Maybe they had no choice?

I've always heard seniors say that they looked in the mirror and an old person looked back. When I looked in the mirror, I knew I wasn't a teenager anymore-DUH!! But then, the other day I looked in the mirror and this old geezer was looking back. Now, I know what the seniors meant. It suddenly hits home that you are old. There's none of this "you're as young as you feel" stuff- you are old.

I was in my 40's when a friend's teenager asked me who was the best MLB pitcher I ever saw. I replied, "Sandy Koufax," and he almost fell out of his chair.

"YOU SAW SANDY KOUFAX??!?!?!"

I wasn't sure if I had achieved Goddess stature in his mind, or Another Old Fogey instead. LOL!

Well, you must know being a senior is not a state of mind. It's a Statistic.
So, if you can't dunk a basketball, drive the golf ball 275 yards you just need to be put away!
Why, because you thought you could? Or wish ya could?
Actually, it doesn't mean didly squat No babe is gonna throw down!
Do what the F you want to and do a great job of entertains. Haha
Lock up the Put away guy and have a great time.

You're only as old as you feel. I consider myself to look in my late 60's although turning 80 in December. My hair still hasn't turned completely grey as yet. I don't have a stoop when I walk, I always walk at a brisk pace. My son who is 54 went to a 10-year school re-union. When he bought the photos home of all his classmates I was shocked as most of them had bald heads and looked like old men. My son looked the youngest one there. The boys used to call him Mel Gibson when he was young, and the girls were his undoing.
