Canadian Wildfires 2023, Wishing Safety For All Of Our Canadian Members

I wish the best for all those in Canada dealing with these severe deadly wildfires. Global warming has increased drought conditions and unexpected weather events throughout Canada and the US, and people, animals, ocean life, trees, property and clean air are suffering. Very sad what is happening on this earth.

The BBC News this morning, stated that the Canadian military were
being sent to help fight the fires.

Not just the Military fire services, who are already involved, but other
trades people and fighting soldiers too.

These fires a worse than any of us can imagine, certainly me, I have
never seen or been near one, other than on the TV.

Let's hope that they burn out soon.

I know that you mean well Mike, but the only thing that is going to put an end to the national wildfire situation in Canada is WINTER which is at least 4 months away. For now, the best that can be done is to keep up with the containment efforts, increase the number of people involved and get people moved out from threatened areas.

About the Canadian Forces. The CF has always been a major player in national emergencies here, this is no different, except the fire locations are spread out across 3000 miles of territory, from the North West Territory, Yukon Territory, British Columbia, Alberta, and some areas in both Ontario and Quebec. In the previous months, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick also had major fire locations. It has been a long and tough spring and summer. JImB.
