I tell you now, before you read this story..I want personally to take a hammer to him myself.... I'm just enraged this guy got off with a Ban on keeping animals for just 10 years, and some community service.... even tho' he had a previous of throwing one of his own dogs out of a moving car breaking it's Pelvis...:mad:
How many other animals has he attacked before getting caught...I'll lay money that there's been a lot...

Here is the story... the attack with the hammer was caught on CCTV... I cannot bring myself to watch it..I'll never get it out of my mind...:cry:

Scum beats horse with a hammer

Yes, ALL should go to prison. If it was up to me the punishment would be a lot longer than it is.

Prison is to good for these clowns! Regardless, our prisons are full. I think hard labor is what they should get, then sleep in the local jails, where the beds are rough and the food is bad.
Yes, that is true too, except I would be ok if they slept rough outside like the animals they abused.

It's appalling what he did to that poor horse because he cannot control his temper, hitting the horse 9 times causing trauma to its leg. He should have been placed in prison and banned from ever touching another animal!

He has 7 dogs at his residence. Those should have been taken away after being charged with throwing one out of his car, after loosing his temper, and breaking its pelvis. The dog had to be euthanized.

I'd make sure his clientele knew what he did so he would never be hired by anybody!

All states outlaw cruelty to animals, as well as neglect and other forms of mistreatment. Criminal penalties range from modest fines to felony prison time.

Yeesh....sorry, I'm not yelling, that's a copy/paste that I got off this website about Animal Cruelty and US laws.

The website: Animal Cruelty Laws
Here we still retain, hung, draw, and quartered for animal cruelty. Breaking a baby's ribs, arms and legs is a waste of Social Services' precious time.

Drug abusers should be in treatment, not prison, except for any crimes (robbery, burglary) they may have committed as a result of their addiction.
I beg to differ...wouldn't treatment also be expensive? Wouldn't they "dry out" and sober up being locked up for an extended period of time?

Gone to pot UK cannot prosecute knife-wielding yobs, gangs, car stealers, drug-pushers, baby beaters, the homeless, and rapists and now people want people cruel to animals convicted and put in prison at our expense from money from a perceived bottomless pit.
what ?... we can prosecute everyone..our judiciary just doesn't... but god help us if we call someone a racist name..they soon find money to jail people then ..but poor helpless animals, can't have justice ?.. is that what you're saying ?

I think they probably all know now...

We had some incidents many years ago when we lived upstairs in a 2 family.

A new family moved into the house in front (on the street) with a boy about a year older than my son; I think maybe 9.

We had a little white cat and a big Irish Setter dog. One early night, the dog was barking his head off in his fenced area. I went out to investigate.

My cat had a rope around it's neck and was tied to a shrub! My ex ran down and we got the cat loose.

Sometime later, the downstairs lady said some of her undergarments were stolen off the clothesline! Shortly after that, a childhood friend of mine who was now a State Trooper stopped by to say hello.

I mentioned that the downstairs lady had her underwear stolen off the clothesline. He immediately asked me if there were any fires around the house or neighbors... I said no.

He explained that very often stolen underwear was followed by arson. I laughed. He said no, not funny, that he learned it in "cop school".

Soon after, my cat wobbled into the opened kitchen door from the enclosed porch. I don't know how she made it upstairs. She was staggering, panting and her eyes were rolling around madly. She collapsed. I knew she'd been poisoned.

Knowing my brother in law was home from work that day and lived around the corner, I called him to help. He brought his rifle and a box and shot the poor dying creature to put her out of her misery. Quick.

Next, my husband and I were just falling asleep in bed, when we heard a noise outside. The downstairs couple had bought some lumber and were about to build a deck. It sounded like the lumber had been run into, or knocked over.

My husband ran down like a shot but couldn't find anyone. I'm thinking, big deal, it's probably some animal, but he was really upset. I'm thinking, Viet Nam reaction.

Soon after that, my boy and the new kid were playing outside as usual, but 2 of their pals had gone in for lunch. I also called my son in for lunch and also invited the new boy to have lunch too. He refused.

So, my son is eating and I was cleaning something. I went out on our enclosed porch to fold laundry that was on top of the dryer to find it on fire! Somehow I got it out. There was a book of matches on the dryer top.

Before I got on touch with the police, I saw his father coming home. I went out and asked him if his son had a fascination for fire and told about the fire on my porch. He grimaced and looked furious. He said, "It was my son, I know. He's also in therapy".

They moved away very soon afterward.

2 years ago, my son and I were remembering all this. He told me he had run into this kid a number of years after they moved and that he admitted everything to my son. My son told me the kid's father was so incensed, he burned the kid's fingers with a lighter until he screamed.

Neither of us could remember his last name, but I often wonder it that boy is a killer on the loose.

I am saying your Daily Mail clip was naff and not working.

Horse and Hounds, so you being a posh girl and a member of the country set, support fox hunting?
I had to troll through several links, think the RSPCA ?? was best. Still, the horse was bashing him back.
what ?... who said anything about fox hunting, I've never been on a fox hunt in my life........stop trying to derail this thread about Animal cruelty...,
