How do you flirt with someone you may be interested in?

Flirting was such fun. It would be hilarious to do it again. He'd have to be cute. I'm starting to think some old men are. Help! Never thought that would happen! 🤗 🙃
You *do* understand that we'll want a full report if you give it a go, right, @Pepper ? (Or at least *I* will 'cause I'm nosy.) :giggle:

and do everyone practice it in all languages and nationalities or is it manifestly french/italian and a few others??

How do you flirt with someone you may be interested in?

Code:
flirt
verb
verb: flirt; 3rd person present: flirts; past tense: flirted; past participle: flirted; gerund or present participle: flirting

    1.
behave as though attracted to or trying to attract someone, but for amusement rather than with serious intentions.

Keep it light, keep it fun for both of you.

Someone flirted with me for three weeks. Granted, I was flattered and he was cute. Unfortunately, me not looking my age, I had to point out that he was 20 odd years my junior. I put him down gently...

He accepted that okay, but said I could cheat.... not my game lol!

Interesting. What age difference would you think is still acceptable for dating? Just curious.

The man being older by at least two years or more. It's just my style, not acceptable for everyone @bobcat48

May-December either way not good either, IMO. The women are called gold-diggers and the other way around, "he's after her money". I've attended a few court cases regarding these divorces, murders or inheritance/wills contestations. As part of law studies field trips.

I then adopted this idea and hubby was two years older than me.

Thank you. Still wondering how much "or more" do you feel is OK.

Physical age and spiritual age are seldom the same thing.
Agreed. Although I'm not exactly sure what you mean by spiritual age. I am interpreting it as biological age, which can be quite different from physical age, sometimes by as much as 20 years.

Not quite sure but I think sometimes there is a lag between body and brain.

Ok, if I HAD to:
I would say "I would love someone to go to Joe's restaurant with me and it would be even better if that someone was you. It would be even better if we could call it a date but I'll settle for you just accompanying me for a cup of coffee. Would you like some coffee?"

Too much?

No, not at all. I think it sends a clear message that you are very interested in it being more than a friendly cup together. It leaves nothing to misinterpretation.
