I am sure how far this will go, or where it ends up. But for those who are interested in this kind of thing, here is a place for posting clips of Motor Racing from around the world. Post your clips here. Try not to post video clips that are too long.

1971, British 4 cynder 'saloon cars' chasing an Ameican V8's (Looks like a Camaro?), at Crystal Palace race track, south London, UK. My first car was a MK1 Ford Escort. A race version can be seen winning here:

Hemi Dragster: A Twist from Across the Pond.

But it's not the Hemi our American friends might immediately think of. This particular V8 Hemi boasts a compact 2.5-liter (152 cubic inch) design. An engine designed in the late 50's by I believe an engine designer from Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. This engine was produced in the late 50's and throughout the 60's. Fitted to cars produced by the British manufacturer, Daimler. (Not to be confused with Daimler-Benz). Daimler then became part of Jaguar Cars LTD.

Daimler 2.5 V8 (hemi) at Santa Pod, UK:

There is always the jet-powered route. I wouldn't want to take it to the supermarket though. Nowhere to put the shopping. Any steak would be well done by the time you got it home:

The Settrington Cup car race.

Just one 'Child Power' per car. No children were hurt during the making of this video.

I think you might have just discovered what my next car might be.
They have got a great rocking horse for sale in a local shop, a real rocker with a mane, now that is tempting me. Plus a real gypsy caravan for the garden.
Just been looking at a Utube clip, motorcycle 8000cc, I am out of touch.
