A lovely Tree Buble Bee right in the city centre outside the castle yesterday.

NOT to hijack Oy's thread: I have asters (michaelmas daisies?) that are covered with bees in early autumn (currently). I see walkers entranced by the number of honeybees buzzing on the blue blooms.

I am of the opinion that bees WILL NOT attack unless threatened - looking, admiring is OK, but NOT SWATTING, WAVING or OTHER FORM OF ATTACKS.

Wasps on the other hand will sting you for fun!
Love this pic... the sharpness and colors... perfect! As for wasps, yes... and also yellow jackets. Had one of those suckers hiding in the washer lid a few years ago and it wasn't amused that I opened the lid. My finger swelled up and hurt like the dickens for longer than I expected... would have rather gone through labor again, no kidding.
