I take it to mean that they should both make you feel good (thus not "hurt")... just a play on words. But I'll be interested to see if others get something else from it.

Taken out of context it is kind of hard to say.

My guess is both are things that should be enjoyed, however both have the power to hurt. For example spicy food (heartburn" or music that reminds you of an old love (sadness).

Never heard the phrase myself but, if it helps, it seems to point to a thread/s on reddit. Any reddit members here might know more..
