Is Barbie the Newest Fad?

After I got out of work today, I stopped at the local Dollar General. I noticed as I was browsing around that there are now Barbie Band-Aids. That kept me laughing for awhile.

Only due to the fact that the movie just came out . It’s an old fad renewed and charged up due to the controversial drama of it being banned in certain countries.

When I stated "yes probably" I was responding to the OP's question. And I don't mean it in a bad way at all. I think a lot of people are having fun with it. And I plan to see the movie.

I had a Barbie in my young years….but…..as I grew older, I left her in the memory box.

I can't wait to see the Barbie movie, which looks to be lots of fun. I've never a Barbie, and don't plan on doing so. But the movie looks like a lot of fun.

There's no big Star Wars flick out this year. Not even another forgettable Harry Potter movie. Gotta have some merchandising junk to sell at Christmas. So, what's better than an over publicized chick flick. Guys have to get their dearest something pink and Barbie.
( I'm a guy, and I thought this movie sucked, but I do admire the billion dollar Barbie advertising campaign.)

I didn't either. I was always into stuffed animals. And I still have and buy stuffed animals and like them.

I do like fashion, even if it's not how I dress. So some of the Barbie and like clothes are interesting.
