May to December romances, what do you think of them?

I married my husband at age 22 and he was 38 so I guess you could call that a May to December romance, he is fast approaching 80 in Oct and I just turned 64, people tell him he robbed the cradle. He laughs and says "what a way to go"We never had any issues with the age difference, he just does what I say and no issues lol lol.no really it never bothered us and still doesn't.I know others that married and had a big age gap and it did not last most were older women and younger men though.
 

I think May/December romances go better for women than men, at least for a while...and I mean when she's the May and he's the December.

I was 65 and Michelle was 38 when we married a couple years ago. Wait. Yikes...3 years ago? No, 2.

Crap, I'll ask Meesh when she gets home but I'm pretty sure we celebrated 2 years last April.

Ok, maybe that says it all. :p
 
I see nothing wrong with it. As long as everyone is a legal adult, it's what works for people.
