Do you wear jeans ?

I live in jeans, and have them in black, gray, and tan colors as well as the traditional blues. In the heat of summer, I wear jean shorts. I own no pairs with the knees torn out, nor would I. Jeans afford me better protection from being clawed when my cats get scared, and bolt unexpectedly off my lap. When I’m not in jeans, I’m wearing khakis…

And you’ve raised horses, chickens and made gear shifters(?) on a metal lathe. That’s versatile.

A tennis outfit and jazz dance outfit is impressive. The Godmother dress is sweet.

I love those macrame pot holders. Once when I used the wear my hair in many braids I had a guy friend once put a small plate at the bottom of my braids and said I could be a pot holder. 😂 I laughed so much. My hair was extra long back then; past my butt.

I’ve done a lot of sewing dog coats. Some really fancy ones and dog sun dresses and harnesses. I’ve done quite a few elaborate needlepoint work which has literally taken me years to finish.

I have a lot of hobbies. Woodworking, woodcarving, jewelry making, painting, playing the horns, keyboards, … but I haven’t sewn in a while. .
My hair up until major chest infection at 12, went down to floor. Think Empress Sissi of Austria.

Unfortunately, antibiotics was so strong, it damaged my hair. From then on, I've been keeping it shoulder length.😄

Mine was tailbone length until a few days ago.
I’d been debating on cutting it for months and finally did the big chop. This is 1/2 the hair cut off. My husband took out the garbage that morning and the first 1/2 was in it. I thought of asking him to bring it back so I could include it in the picture but it was probably all mixed with other yucky garbage so I didn’t. I actually spent about 3 hours cutting it. It’s thick and curly so cutting short was a challenge but I watched lots of YouTube videos first.

I did want to grow my hair to knee length but due to stuff I’d rather not mention, it wasn’t going to happen.

Another derail guys. 😬 lol
My hair doesn’t look as grey now either.
I liked my grey but love this cut more.

I do not. I do not feel comfortable in them. Never have. I wish I did, as practically everyone around me likes them!
I like cotton chinos or my favorite are cotton cargo pants. I am able to move much better with that type of pants however, I only wear them in the winter when the weather is colder. My staple is bermuda shorts.

I have a corduroy jacket sitting in my closet waiting to come back in style. It's good quality and fits like a glove.
I asked my daughter one day if I should wear it and she said, " No, definitely not, no!"
Daughters are great for honest opinions . ☺️
I just got a new fall clothing catalog from Lands' End in the mail yesterday...guess what? It is full of corduroy jackets, pants, etc.
You are back in style!!!😉

I do a simpler version with this, I make ponytail and cut the length I want, then I take my fringe/bang up straight cut across.

If you decided to grow your hair again, this works a treat!

I’m guessing you don’t have curly hair. This method doesn’t work for me since my hair is too thick and too curly. I wouldn’t have ended up with a straight cut. From waist down this method would work. I had to section my hair in 6 different places to cut it and then had to thin and shape the edges since they were far too blunt. One day if I ever find a picture of my long grey hair that wasn’t in a braid or a bun I will post it and you’ll understand then.
I don’t want to derail this thread any more than I have but I shall try and gather pics. I hated having my picture taken so didn’t take many and of course my husband didn’t either.

Hey... hang on... I am much younger than her.... the ostrich is good looking though :ROFLMAO:

Just to clarify, although I sometimes ride my bicycle ( and on't need special clothes for that).... I also mainly go horse riding and for that I wear riding breeches.
Ok I’ll try and do better this time

No special clothes when riding a bike?

I told you that I wear baggy trousers. The bike dates back to the 1920's, it was ideal following my hip replacement. My surgeon's advice was to swim and cycle. The lady's frame negated the need to lift the hip over a crossbar and the chain guard is perfect for protecting baggy trousers.

Well we wouldn’t have expected any less from you. A women’s style bike IS definitely safer.
Besides, you wouldn’t want to ruin your clothes. You look great and the bike suites you. 1920 bike? It’s a fine looking bike.

Oh I've got naturally curly hair but my natural batch is now thin 😄😄😄. I'd recommend that you try doing it while your hair's wet or with a curl relaxing cream or gel. Works a treat.

I curl easily. Rain or high humidity, I look as if I've got a perm in five seconds. Because my hair, there's loads, but thin, tangles. The only rollers I can use are the sponge. Anything with spikes, really old plastic types and I lose half my hair in knots.

I can see the curls in my hair, even when wet lol!
