What Was the Silliest Thing That You Have Seen in the Store Recently?

I was at Walmart today, and in the book and magazine section, I saw a Golden Girls coloring book. The price tag said; $10.78. That kept me laughing for a bit. I noticed over the years working at nursing homes that some elderly women have those adult coloring books. Others, who think that they are still children, have childrens coloring books.

Anyone want to color in Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, or Sophia?

Well it's kind of cute. I think it's important for people to do some sort of crafting. I guess you could call that crafting in a way.

Silliest thing I've seen at my grocery store is those plexiglass barriers between the cashier and the customer that have a big ol' slot in it so the cashier can talk to you, take your cash or check, and hand you your receipts...all bare-handed.

Cough or sneeze in front of those barriers and they'll bounce off and go to the right or left. Duh. Not too smart.

The silliest thing I've seen (maybe even mentioned it here before!) and get a kick out of each time is the box of bacon wrapped scallops that says "may contain seafood." Maybe it's just that I'm easy to amuse, but that one always makes me chuckle.

Even sillier; so are the $3 for 5pk disposable razors, all cold medicine including children's, and anything with ibuprofen in it.

But try to find someone with a freaking key. A lot of people tap-out and go to the Dollar Store, where they don't lock up anything.

I thought those were all taken down by now. I guess not.

They did take them down for about a year and now they're back up. And I imagine after spending thousands of dollars on those things, management will use just about any excuse to bring 'em out again.

I love the ones that say "No fructose" and "No corn syrup" but lists artificial sweeteners known to suspected of causing cancer.

Silly when you can find them online and print them for free.

But that's probably why they're overpriced now.

so many people think high fructose corn syrup is DANGEROUS. well, it is... when you eat TOO MUCH of it. too much of any sweetener is not a good thing. i think it's in so many food products because it costs less than cane sugar.

After hectic days I will put a frozen casserole or meal in the oven. However, I saw something at the store yesterday that just floored me.
In the frozen food section was Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. I have never been that lazy!
