Anyone remember Miss Sandra from Romper Room? She has a wonderful YouTube channel called "Life Over Sixty with Sandra." She’s an 84 widow now and shares her considerable wisdom on everything from aging to fashion to thrifting.

Our local franchisee station had "Miss Jean." We also had our own "Bozo" show locally. And of course we had a cowboy "Buck Barry" who had a kids' TV variety game show and an early morning radio show.

I've watched a couple of her videos. I didn't realize she'd had that career.

I forgot to mention "Fireman Freddie" who did a daily Popeye cartoon show with a child studio audience as well. If your parents had any money and social network at all a kid stood a great chance of getting on one of these shows. Mine were not as well off or connected.

We had Miss Sally and Bozo as well. I was on both shows at some point. My mom wasn’t a stage mother, just bored, until she went back to work.
