Camilla isn't the most photogenic..but her clothing allowance et al has been significantly increased since she became the Queen Consort.

It's always going to be difficult for her to look immaculately turned out because she's never been a clothes horse.. and at 76 year old it will be hard for her to to feel comfortable when her go to clothes have always been horsey attire, or gardening clothes....

However I do think she's been captured very well.. hesitant to say beautifully... but this on her visit to the Macrons in France this week ,.... IMO is her best ''Queen Consort '' look... thus far..

Decisions have consequences. It's a lesson a young Prince Charles learned early in his royal life. And one decision could have changed the entire makeup of the monarchy. Prince Charles did not marry Camilla Shand when he first met her.

Why? The answer is in a documentary called "Charles: In His Own Words." It took a look at the life of Charles using archival footage and photos. Filmmaker Tom Jennings spoke about it. "He met Camilla in 1970," Jennings said. "They were dating when they were single and because they were intimate, she was no longer eligible to be Queen."

That, to me, is a petty excuse. Charles did what Charles has done all his life, he dithered. I often wondered if he felt pressured by public opinion, The Press and his duty to produce an heir, were some of the reasons why he married Diana. Mind you with a name like Charles it does come with Royal baggage.

His predecessor Charles the First was convicted of treason and executed on 30 January 1649 outside the Banqueting House in Whitehall, London. Britain became a republic, but that didn't last, Charles' son, also called Charles, was proclaimed King Charles the Second in May 1660.

Actually the truth of the thing is that Camilla was not in love with Charles back in the 70's.. she was setting her cap at Andrew Parker Bowles. He was a huge womaniser, who had in fact had an affair with Princess Anne at one point.. but Camilla was infatuated with him... despite him not showing much interest towards her.

When Charles was sent off to sea while in the Royal Navy, Camilla won her man, and married him.. and broke Charles heart ( I've seen the letters he wrote at the time )... so the truth is, that he would have married her if he could have.. despite her not being Royally suitable at the time.. but she didn't want to marry him...
