Have you ever ordered from these people?I used them a lot over 20 years ago but not at all lately. I am interested in making a purchase to help me recover from an injury and beef is s good way to do that but I wondered if their service is as good as it used to be?
 

Years ago, like 15, I ordered and used them, was very pleased
with just about everything. No specific reason that I stopped,
just life and other places of purchase for my meats.
 

I order from them. Their prices went up quite a bit, yet prices are up everywhere else too. They changed certain cuts of poultry and meats through time, and some not for the better. I liked certain meats that they sold that are now no longer available, I miss it. They introduced new items that I am not necessarily fond of but on the overall, I still can get a good part of products that I like. The service remains great and quality of products as well. So, for me it is still a great contender. I hope this can help you into making a decision.

costco -only way to go
 
We order from Omaha Steaks all the time.
Mostly the Private Reserve Ribeyes and have never been disappointed.

We get our Christmas dinner Prime Ribs from Kansas City Steaks.
Tender to the point you can cut a piece off with a fork...
 
We got them as a gift once and while they were okay they were no better than supermarket meat! I am not a big meat eater though. I have no idea what they paid for them.

Same here. OK, but nothing special. In particular, for me, not enough fat left on the steaks.
 
Just a General thought about the table today.

I last ordered a New York Strip / rare. Tasted good just couldn't saw through it with a serrated steak knife. About 8 cuds of gristle on my plate when finished. We were also playing 8 ball. The Pool was free in the establishment. Its Catfish strips always now. Beef has gradually become worse and worser. It's like sewed together tendons and stuff.

Fast food doesn't taste like a burger or feel like one. I almost feel sick after a Big Mac or Quarter Pounders. Burger King Whoppers must be Soy burgers. The last Arby's Ruben was tough. Fast food is nixed.

A homemade Frozen Pizza always now. Extra Pepperoni / Ham and Mozzarella cheeses. A Salami / Cheese snack is the best travel appetizer now here. The day Salami, Pepperoni or Summer sausage is too tough to chew I'm done with them too. Jimmy Johns Tuna Salad Sub's best travel chow here now with cheese and cucumbers.
