Love the water wheel. What kind of mill would that be/have been?

It's an original combination flour and lumber mill. It also has a tool shop with a lathe, and some other tools that run off the wheel. It's a local attraction for tourists driving the Blue Ridge Parkway right near me. It's probably been photographed millions of times, all from the same vantage point. They've done everthing short of setting up a sign on the grounds that says: Take photo from this point. I've taken shots from all around it, but this is the only photogenic view that really works.
