This Australian 25:38 minute Youtube on Australian invasive species caused by humans and their subsequent ridiculous wars against such is both troubling and hilarious. Plenty of amazing archived old film shorts. Plagues of rabbits, mice, emus, camels, frogs, foxes, cats.

Why Don’t They Eat Billions of Animals in Australia?

Thanks @Kadee for your balanced input that I notice you have since deleted (?). Just like Australia, regional areas in the US have also been overrun by such species though due to climate, geology, topography, and modern Earth monkey transportation, not as much. The worst invasive species here in California have been Old World plant species brought by early European livestock and farming settlers that have totally replaced most native landscapes except in desert areas where they cannot compete. Same across the planet due to ignorance of earlier eras. Indeed there are always significant areas within regions where effects may seem insignificant.

Members still ought watch the entertaining Youtube video.

Our bill for feral cats comes in at $18 billion — but that's not the worst figure

I don't mind watching a video which will show me something interesting and where I will learn something. Unfortunately, this video is is way over the top. It is just way too fast and the voice is spitting out thousands of words/minute. I don't like these super fast videos that seem to be geared to cause stress to the viewer and if nothing else, will cause a lot of stomach acid to be generated.

Guess I prefer to slow down and smell the flowers. Bye bye stress, noise and confusion.

Local store has rabbit @7.99 a lb .... heard it was good but have not had it myself.....
i think of these things when i watch those Alone shows many items they show eating small animals many rabbits included ....... why not use them as a food source. like title suggests

I used to raise rabbits for the freezer, along with chickens and turkeys and the occasional beef. It really is quit good. Have also eaten a lot of wild rabbit, which is a bit gamier. The domestic is mostly white meat while the wild is darker.

In the U.S. military, we were fed rabbit on my first ship.
Very VERY lean and overcooked as the military often does.
That said and while a bit stringy, dry and chewy, I had no problem eating it.
