Has anyone tried this? I put an item in the TBYB specific cart. Size and color show it's available. It shows one item in the cart image but when I go to cart and press proceed to TBYB checkout, things stop there. It shows the item but kicks back to where you choose the item.
I'm afraid to try anymore and accidentally order 5 of the same item. No help in FAQs or other.

I wish I had a useful answer.

I haven't ever ordered anything explicitly that way, yet some items have arrived in packaging that suggests "easy return." I can't even figure out how that works and I'd probably end up boxing and sending stuff back the same way as for any other online merchant.

I have used this TBYB before and it is just as they advertise. I don’t know why that’s doing that to you. If it’s taking you back, did you miss something when ordering? Color, size, out of stock. Good luck with your order.
Pappy, did you get an order confirmation?

I've had TBYB items before.. I'm not keen on doing it.. but it's a good concept. Never had any problems at checkout so can't help you there.. but why not talk to a customer service rep , on chat.. they're very helpful..

Never bought anything from Amazon... I must be the only one in the world not to have done so.
Tell you one thing though, so way, would I buy clothes that all sorts of folk have already tried on. Nope, siree...

I used it once for a set of knee sleeves. Wasn't sure whether the L or the XL would provide the level of support I was looking for, so I ordered both on the TBYB plan. I sent back the one that I didn't want and after the time period elapsed they charged me for the one I kept.

I wasn't sure of the size. If it wasn't right I could send it right back.
There's nothing stopping you from returning it for 30 days anyway, why is only 7 days better? The program, I believe, is set up so they get the returns quicker so they can resell quicker. The longer time the buyer has the goods which they can't sell till the item is returned, the longer their capital is tied up in inventory.

I kind of wanted to try the TBYB as well as the item itself. I'm at that age I can do what I want. Aren't you?
I'm going against the grain. 🙂

I'm thinking they don't charge your CC during the 7 day TBYB period, therefore relieving themselves of having to issue you a credit when you return something.

It seems more of a benefit to them, but you do benefit from not having your cc charged then waiting for a credit.

Never did the TBYB, but I have returned several Amazon purchases. Returns are easy around here. We have a local Whole Foods. Just stick it back in the box with purchase info and drop it off at the returns counter. In the absence of that Amazon makes deals with a lot of department stores where dropping off a return is equally easy.
