Flying the P-51

Had a BIL who flew the mustang along with many aircraft in a long Air Force career. He even took me me up in jet trainer and let me fly it some when he was in charge of maintenance at Randolph in Texas. Quite a thrill for me, but just an everyday event for him...
 
A pilot friend of mine owns a 2-man ultralight plane. After a few takeoffs and landings, he turned it over to me to take the controls, but went along for the ride. I flew a Boeing-767 for United-Continental for a living with no issues, but this thing scared the crap out of me. It just did not feel right with an open cockpit or whatever that part of the ultralight is called. The following picture is not his plane, but is a Google image of a similar ultralight.
