Sea of bodies everywhere as Hamas sent bomb to kill their own people......
Horrifying images show 'sea of bodies' outside Gaza hospital
From what I'm hearing, this is not accurate. It was the Islamic Jihad group rocket that misfired and hit the hospital. Hamas apparently knew it but still let everyone blame Israel. The Jihad group and Hamas had been rivals and then allies some time ago, but recently I think they've been more like allies. Wonder what would happen if those two terrorist groups turned on each other?

yes I did post that it was the Islamic Jihad group...Post 547.....

@Warrigal ... here is the evidence currently presented by the Israeli Defense Force (IDF)
Even including a recorded phone conversation between Hamas operatives confirming it to be a Hamas rocket.
Also there are several videos and pictures. It's a pretty long article so I'll just post a link ...
IDF presents evidence misfired Gazan rocket caused hospital blast, slams Hamas ‘lies’
The video shows the arc of the missle so if one knows where the picture was taken from it would what direction where it came from. But Hamas is saying airstrike in which a bomb, drone etc wouldn't arc like that.

An Israeli TV station has released new footage which it says appears to show rockets fired over a hospital in Gaza just moments before an explosion killed hundreds last night.

It comes after Israel's military shared footage and analysis which they say shows they were not responsible for the horrifying blast at the Al-Ahli Hospital on Tuesday.

A video clip from a livestream, aired by Israel's Channel 12 News, shows a salvo of rockets being launched before explosions rock an area claimed to be the medical centre.

The station claimed the timestamped video was 'proof' that a rocket fired in Palestine malfunctioned mid-air before crashing down and bursting into flames.

News anchor Yonit Levy said: 'This is proof of Israel's claims that it was actually missiles from the Gaza Strip shot in the direction of the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City.'

Israel has denied it fired a missile at the hospital in the Gaza Strip, earlier sharing what it says is evidence a jihadist group from Palestine was behind the blast.

Israel's adversaries - Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Hezbollah and Iran - insist the IDF was behind the devastation and vowed to take revenge.

US analysis shows Israel not responsible for hospital explosion -White House

Reuters

WASHINGTON, Oct 18 (Reuters) - A U.S. analysis of currently available data indicates that "Israel is not responsible for the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday," a spokeswoman for the White House National Security Council said on Wednesday.

The assessment is based on the United States' analysis of overhead imagery, intercepts and open source information, NSC spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said in a post on X, adding that the United States is continuing to collect information.

Why U.S. Intel Says Israel Did Not Attack Gaza Hospital

U.S. intelligence has concluded that the Israeli Defense Forces did not attack the Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City and that 500 civilians did not die there, according to multiple officials in Washington.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has said that at least 500 people were killed in the blast at the hospital on Tuesday. Hamas has promised to release evidence that Israel bombed the hospital.

"Israel did not target the hospital, that we know" a senior Defense Intelligence Agency officer told Newsweek. "Imagery and signals [intercepts] additionally show that a rocket fired from inside Gaza landed near the hospital, not on it."

"We don't know how many people died, nor does Israel. Not yet," says a U.S. Air Force officer working on the subject. "But the intelligence, ours and Israel's, suggests a few dozen at most. I'm not saying this isn't a tragedy," the officer says, "but this is just another case of massive exaggeration and blatant lying on the part of Hamas. Palestinians are the responsible party, not Israel."

The Israeli Air Force has also released material showing Islamic Jihad (PIJ) firing about 10 rockets towards Israeli from the same neighborhood the hospital is located in. A rocket or rockets technically "failed," the IAF says, landing on a parking lot. Drone footage released by the IAF shows shrapnel damage to the hospital building.

Please guide me which news station to trust?
That's a loaded question, Rose. Bottom line... there *IS* no media outlet that is truly impartial or completely trustworthy. My own way to do it is to just gather facts from various places (meaning various slants/biases) and try to put at least a semi-intelligent theory together of what *I* believe happened. No one in any government has ever asked me what my opinion is, so it isn't really going to change anything. 🤷‍♀️

I've seen convincing video and data indicating that it was NOT Israel that hit the hospital.
But Hamas has the whole Arab region believing Israel is responsible.
Even Arab news media is still attributing it to Israel.
One Al Jazeera reporter on the ground in Gaza even tweeted on "X" from their account on X and said it was a failed Hamas rocket.
But Al Jazeera website is still reporting Israel was responsible.
That's the way they'll report it in any case, proof or no proof.

Live on your American news network now.......

A large protest has taken over the US Capitol building inside and outside claiming to be a pro-Gaza Jewish group. Apparently they are calling for a ceasefire. The crowds are huge and very, very loud.

Arrests are underway.

And don't ask me what to believe about who they are. Danged if I know.

Israel protects everyone's rights. Israel is diverse and has freedom of speech and freedom of religion. You're a Jew who supports Arabs in Gaza? That's totally allowed.

But the job of the government of Israel is to protect its people, and particularly to protect Jews from being wiped off the face of the earth. Which is Gaza Hamas's goal. And they're not the only people hoping to achieve that goal.

This is inside the US Capitol now. Click to play.

Edited to add that apparently these are Jews who say they are anti-Zionists.

no..but it also means she'll only get one real side of the story....
They're not taking sides. I mean, there is absolutely no justification for the attack against Israel. None whatsoever.

Both France 24 and The Guardian have explained in detail the history of the region, and explained the religious, political and geographic tensions between Gaza, Israel, and The West Bank leading up to the Oct 7th attack, and they're covering Israel's response. That's it.
