Yeah, they should track down what employee was putting the pet responses into the database for people, and if not a one time mistake I'd hope they fire that person.

I don't think I've ever gotten a census questionnaire that asks about pets, I guess that is a Massachusetts municipality type of thing.

Pet census is helpful in collecting city license fees.
