Is Anybody Watching The New NBC Series The Irrational and Found?

The Irrational caught my attention because it stars that sweet Jesse L. Martin. I'm on episode 3 and like it enough that I'm hoping it gets picked up for another season. What got me interested in Found (which I haven't started yet) is the concept and that it features Mark-Paul Gosselaar. I really liked him in The Passage, which was only on for one season and Will Trent. I'm watching them on Peacock.

We are on a Netflix binge right now, but I've seen these two series advertised on NBC and I'm interested in checking them out. Thanks for the recommendation!

I canceled HBO, SHO and one other premium channel due to the writers' strike (figure it will be a while until something new comes out) and it cut $100 off my AT&T bill! I see The Gilded Age is coming back but it's not worth $100 per month.

Why was your streaming bill $100 a month for just 3 streaming platforms?!
And why would that one show cost $100? I don't find premium channels to be worth their prices, especially since much of the programming has vulgar content these days.

I hope you get to see those shows. I started watching Found last night and I really like it. I added that I'm watching via Peacock after you posted your reply. I don't know how long they keep episodes.

My AT&T bill includes internet, phone and TV. It was $305 per month. It just got ridiculous, plus they were going to take away $5 of the $10 credit they offered for Autopay.

I canceled a number of Premium channels. SHO, HBO and MAX contributed to most of the costs, but I think there were also some channels in the package that I never watched (kids, Latin, sports). My bill is now $205 per month. It's weird with AT&T and DirecTV because they package everything in an odd way. I just went online and gradually downgraded to a more basic package.

Yes, I was foolish not to make the change sooner, but we liked shows like The Gilded Age, Yellowjackets, How To with John Wilson, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver but we can do without them. What I meant by one show costing $100 is that The Gilded Age is the only one really good one that is coming back this month.

BTW I did try recording The Irrational through DirecTV and the first two episodes recorded but gave me a "warning" sign that they would soon be deleted if we didn't watch them immediately. I'll try again. Jesse L. Martin is great. I remember him from Ally McBeal and Law and Order! I'll try Found as well.

Okay...that the costs was for a package makes more sense. I was going to say! :oops:That $100 a month makes a huge difference. My son finally changed his car insurance provider from Gieco to NJM something or other. He's saving $100 a month. It's something I mentioned to him several months ago so I'm glad he finally did it under the advice of my honorary daughter who suggested the company.

Cable prices have gotten to be so ridiculous. I'm glad I cut the cord in December 2018. I have more programming now, most with no ads, for about $40 a month, than I did when I had cable. I had downgraded too. Another tactic was threatening to leave so I'd get a special discount. The average I paid in 2017 was $106/mo. The average in 2018 was $76/mo.

Watched (again) last night..
Continue to be 'good'👍
makes you think.

Am impressed with all the actors.

Continues "to be good" watching👍
I agree. I'm enjoying them both. I have a friend who said the acting is bad in Found! I don't know how she came to that conclusion but I totally disagree. My only issue with that show is whoever did the casting overlooked one thing, apparently. Young Gabby's nose is entirely different than grown up Gabby! Unless they do an episode that explains that she had a nose job, the difference is going to continue to bug me. I've seen several shows in which the child truly looks like he/she could have grown up to look like the adult version of the character. It bugs me when that is not the case.

And, it keeps getting better and better..
will Gabi be ' caught'...'keeping him'?
She's had some 'close calls'.

I could have sworn I saw a promo in which she was asked what is in her cellar. I think it was the girl, now her employee that she protected after she was kidnapped.
