Trivia bit. Name the smallest State capital city in the USA by population.

Close, but too high. Montpellier is so small that after 8pm there is no place open where you can buy a take out coffee. How do I know that ? Back in the middle 1990's I was a long distance expedite courier. One of my regular over night runs was from Long Island New York to Montreal , Quebec. My drive took me right past the Vermont capital city exit.

One snowy December night, I got off the interstate, and drove the 5 miles into Montpellier looking for a coffee shop, only to find the whole town was shut down tight. It was just about 9pm, and there was no place that was open. Remember this is a State Capital city. Jimb.

Close but a bit too low. The 2023 population of Montpellier Vermont is 8,024. Vermont is the second least populated US State. So... for the bonus points which US State has the lowest population of all 50 States ? Without looking it up ? Jimb.

Good for you, for being a good sport. Here is one just for you. Which US State has a 2 person FBI office, that covers one part of the State, with a total of 4 FBI offices in the entire State ? ? Let that sink in for a minute. A 2 person FBI field office ? Remember, no looking it up. I know the answer. Jimb.

Eeeew! Well, I'd assume (that's gotten me in a lot of trouble over the years!) that it would be a state with little crime, so my thoughts went to Hawaii or Alaska and I'll choose Alaska.
