Without "looking it up online ". Which of these three places has the largest square mile land area ? Texas, Alaska, or Quebec. Use your mind, not your fingers to figure it out. There will be more questions as the thread goes along. Get busy. Jimb.

Name the most southerly place in Canada. It is located at about the same latitude as Northern California. Hint, it is in Lake Erie, about 150 yards north of the water boundary between Ohio and Ontario. Jimb.

During the US Civil War, what town in Vermont was attacked by Confederate soldiers, who robbed two banks and then fled back into what Canadian Province. Name the town ? Remember no goggle searches.

Well now hold the phone here. Now that we're looking things up, Quebec says"
Quebec covers 595,391 square miles (1,542,056 square kilometers). It is larger than the U.S. state of Alaska and more than twice the size of the state of Texas. All of France would be swallowed in its vast, almost uninhabited northland. The province extends for 1,225 miles (1,971 kilometers) from the northern tip of the Ungava Peninsula to the United States border on the south."

The US Geological Survey website says Alaska is 665,384 square miles in area. I think that Quebec may be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time, something was screwed up in translation in Le Belle Province. Grin. JimB.
