I REALLY hate paying for streaming when all I want are the local channels! I don't care, for the most part, for all this other stuff they put out there. All I want are the local channels.
I am finding out I like Pluto, and I am doing without Hulu for the next 6 months. I like my local channels.I've always felt this way too, just let me pay for the channels I like to watch.
Well, I finally got rid of Directv, and now purchase Philo monthly for only $20.
They have all the channels I like, and prefer to watch. Everything from Hallmark to Investigation ID.
And many more....I think there's 60-65 channels. And music.
Totally agree on that one!Credit card fees. Unless you pay the full amount due at the close of the accounting, you are charged exorbitant fees for a number of things. I ditched mine ages ago.
We had a nurse practicioner, and she helped DH with his allergies more than any MD had. We went into mourning when she left! Some doctors are bad enough, but allowing anyone who doesn't have M.D. after their name to prescribe is a bad idea.
American Express have even got the cheek to raise their annual fee from £25 to £30 next year.Credit card fees. Unless you pay the full amount due at the close of the accounting, you are charged exorbitant fees for a number of things. I ditched mine ages ago.
you pay that much in school tax from your medicare check?Cable service - even bundled with phone and TV, I'm paying almost $200 a month and they recently dropped a slew of channels.
School taxes. I have no children in school yet pay close to $2500 a year for school tax.

There were people with no children who paid for YOU to go to school. This is for your local community, your state, your nation. Jeez.School taxes. I have no children in school yet pay close to $2500 a year for school tax.
I don't understand this comment.you pay that much in school tax from your medicare check?
We really feel that, not so much in the towns & small cities around here, but in larger BC Interior cities, like Kelowna. You don't get much time for a dollar or two.Parking![]()

Yes! I remember when it was free.air for my car tires. some of the air pumps want 25 cents for a measly little bit of time to air maybe one or two tires if you're fast enough. it's used for donating but it still ticks me off. i don't like being nickled and dimed by places for the sole purpose of emptying my bank account.
I used to know of one gas station in town that had one that was free. Now, it isn't. We all used to go to those special gas stations that had free air. But, I am afraid they are all gone now.Yes! I remember when it was free.
Many moons ago.
I thought the voters in Ohio voted on their school taxes?I resent paying exorbitant property taxes. At some point, I'd at least like to see elderly seniors get a discount or be put on a sliding-scale plan. As taxes keep going up, they can eventually force us out of the homes that we worked so hard to pay off and hoped to keep for the duration of our lives.
Same here. I never drive into the city. I never pay for parking.Parking![]()
Here in Perth there are still plenty of servos where pumping up the tyres is free.air for my car tires. some of the air pumps want 25 cents for a measly little bit of time to air maybe one or two tires if you're fast enough. it's used for donating but it still ticks me off. i don't like being nickled and dimed by places for the sole purpose of emptying my bank account.
