Store Bought Rice Pudding

Generally i leer away from products that are prepared and packaged in the store. The products could contain anything since their ingredients are not checked for freshness. I worked in the meat department of a large grocery company. You would be surprised what we used to dump in the hamburger rather than throw it away. Tomain poisoning can easily result if rancid milk products are used and their distasteful flavor is deliberately hidden by flavorings and sweeteners.

Remember your local grocery store looses money on anything that is thrown away. Management does not like that. It hurts the bottom line. Store labelled products are hard to track down as a cause. While there may be traces of spoiled product in the package the store can claim you mismanaged it in its storage or preparation in your cooking. With company labeled products such as canned goods spoilage is easier to trace because of the larger product size and consistency in the reaction.

It is best to eat only 'home made' or 'site made' products you have made at home. You know what is in them.

why don't you just name the brand ?

I've had some that was decent, though the larger tub seemed a lot better than individually sealed one-serving cups. But in the U.S. a brand and product with a given name can vary geographically. You think you bought the same thing but it tastes quite different.
